Carbon
Monte Dinero
Monte Dinero is located in the southeastern tip of Santa Cruz province, at the opening of the Magellan Strait. The farm, owned and operated by the Fenton Family since 1880, specializes in sheep production and is renowned for its exceptional wool and sheep genetics. It is situated in the Humid Magellanic Steppe ecoregion, a bunchgrass prairie dominated by Festuca gracillima. Notably, it was the first farm in South America to apply holistic planned grazing, a livestock management practice that helps ensure land regeneration, which is monitored via the Grasslands Regeneration & Sustainability Standard.

Carbon
Kulshan Carbon Trust
Kulshan Carbon Trust’s public and private land projects along the Salish Sea in Northwest Washington protect existing carbon reserves and rebuild carbon stockpiles in soils and plants. This community-led biochar initiative helps to repurpose forestry slash and feedstock from the logging industry to generate carbon offsets, while reducing wildfire risk, improving forest health, and addressing invasive species emergence. These pilots test the best practices to measure, report, and verify biochar production credits and create a regional value chain of suppliers and landowners.

Biodiversity
Jaguar Stewardship Credits
In the Amazon headwaters, Indigenous stewards face increasing pressure from activities like illegal logging and mining, which endanger both their forest ecosystem and cultural heritage. The Sharamentsa community, belonging to the Achuar Nation, is pivotal in this biodiversity project that focuses on safeguarding a critical 10,000-hectare jaguar habitat. This effort seeks to create a sustainable model that integrates ecological conservation with economic development, drawing on the community's extensive knowledge of the forest.
